Even though I failed on the exercise part Bryan and I ate a healthy breakfast of shredded wheat with skim milk and turkey bacon-YUM! I took with me the dinner I cooked/baked the previous night after work at 11:30 PM. It surprisingly turned out really good. So for lunch I had manicotti pasta with onions, garlic, ricotta cheese and marinara sauce. For a snack I had almond nuts, which was a food shock because I don't think I have ever had bare almond nuts, especially without a handful of salted peanuts and M&Ms to go along with it. Needless to say, it is going to be hard to eat that alone.
After work I got home made a strawberry smoothie-frozen strawberries, skim milk, plain yogurt and a dab of honey. Wasn't too bad, but not much of a taste. For some reason it was better to drink after letting it melt a little bit.
For dinner I ate around 6:45 because I was hungry and I knew I would need the energy during my work shift from 5:30 Pm-11 Pm. So I packed a tuna fish sandwich with an orange. It was just right and I was good for the rest of the night. The night got better when I got to go home earlier than expected. I am interested to see what the next day holds for bootcamp.
